Educate. Advocate. Lead.
Since the 1990’s, Loyola University Chicago has offered a Master of Jurisprudence degree in Children’s Law and Policy through the nationally recognized Civitas ChildLaw Center.
The MJ degree program is now available online to professionals who work with children and families in a variety of disciplines and fields of practice. Child advocates nationally and internationally can take advantage of the expertise of the Civitas Childlaw faculty who have years of experience in the fields of pediatric and family law. Because the MJ degree is granted by a law school, students benefit from a faculty of law practitioners who both teach and practice in the various facets of child law and policy related work.
In collaboration with an advisory committee of leaders in various child serving professions and organizations, Loyola has also designed the curriculum to better prepare students for leadership roles in their respective fields. This part-time MJ degree program caters to professionals who work to make a difference.
